ARMY VISIT

Today we got to go and visit the Army. We got to have a look through the trucks, in the ambulance and they even cooked us some pikelets. Yesterday we got to sit in the big helicopter too. We wrote some stories and poems about it. Here is one Liam wrote. A - At the army, people travel around the world in Unimogs and army trucks. R - Running around in the bush, some army men are ambushing the enemies. M - Men in the bushes getting closer. Y - Young guns that have not been used before. The army has just bought them.     Cool poem Liam. I like how yo have made the link between the army you saw and how they get to travel around the world. Great job.
